This edition of BRCast features an exclusive mix by Goos.

In a very short span of time, Goos has risen to remarkable prominence as a promising artist. With a combination of steady, yet very well received gigs, Goos brings a distinctive energy to the floor. His sound ranges from intricate melodies to chunky basslines, often inspired by earthy tones from around the world.

Goos hosted his own showcase at the Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) in 2018 titled Journey on Tour presenting artists from around the world. Goos has played alongside international artists such as Lane 8, Yotto, Ben Bohmer, Dee Montero, Tinlicker, Kora, Denis Horvat, Theo Kottis, Eelke Kleijn, Sebastien Leger, Joseph Ashworth, Roger Martinez, Dousk, Julian Jeweil, Olivier Giacomotto, Roger Sanchez, Kid Crème, Funkagenda to name a few. After a pretty sombre last several weeks - my beautiful 14 year old dog, Bullie, has not been doing too well on the health front - all I wanted to do was to hear some tunes that would put a smile on my face.

I was reminded of my all time favorite track - Duke's So In Love With You (Full Intention 7 Inch Mix) - which was one of the very first tracks I connected with as a young teen that made me fall in love with electronic music. After having a listen, the mood was positively set for a somewhat Berlinesque house mix with a hint of a 90s flavour.

I believe everyone has that one track that just transports you back in time and instils feelings of happiness each and every time you hear it. Do you have a track that does that for you?

Italians Luigi Gori and Frankye Lova debut on Timeless Moment with three Melodic Techno gems: Relief, Eccentric and Rubbing.

The main themes involving the first two tracks of the EP, Relief and Eccentric, are darkness and hypnosis, with both bringing obscure progressive atmospheres, organic analog synth lines and solid dance floor grooves.

The third and final track of the EP is more Techno orientated with a slight “Cirez D’ feel to it. The effects of “Rubbing” on the dance floor are notable and euphoric due to its powerful bass line and kick drums that are followed by an amazing introspective breakdown, turning this one a secret timeless weapon for the underground lovers.
