Iam back with another funky sunlight driven voyage. It was a sunny day in spring when i was sitting in a bar. People passed by and anyone was in good mood. The sunlight touched my face and i had that melody in my mind. Later in the studio i worked out more and more of the theme and "Feel The Heat" was born. 

I hope you enjoy this little story and the song.

FINAL DJS - Feel The Heat

The 10th and final single from "It's Not Funny", LUXXURY's six-years-in-the-making full length, “Turn Off All The Lights” is a left turn away from the hypnotic disco of its album counterparts. "Lights" instead meanders through six different sections in just over three minutes, a compact bundle of cosmic detours and stop start melodies evoking equal parts Toro Y Moi, Tame Impala and Ariel Pink.

Astonishingly, Loshmi's long-running "Serious Edits" series is now 15 volumes deep. We can happily confirm that he's not run out of steam yet with the seven-track selection featuring some suitably playable, floor-friendly revisions that are well worth your hard-earned cash. Our highlights include the gently housed-up 80s disco goodness of "Delightful", the heavy disco-funk/proto-rap fusion of "Funky Animals" - all eccentric mic flow, mazy organ lines and beefed-up disco grooves - and the languid, glassy-eyed loveliness of head-nodding warm up gem "Soul Food". There's naturally plenty to set the pulse elsewhere across the EP, too, so give all of the clips a listen if you have time.
