Da kommen einige Jahre Cluberfahrung zusammen: Territory Sound besteht aus Thorsten W. und TKZ, beide erfahrene Männer an Mischpult und Mikrofon. Gefunden haben sie sich mit dem 5T Kollektiv, das Ende 2013 mit der Schmousn Party für Furore in Stuttgart gesorgt hat. Hier haben die beiden Ts aufgelegt, die Vibes waren gut und das Feedback positiv, also hat man sich spontan zur Gründung eines Soundsystems entschlossen. Musikalisch bewegt sich Territory Sound zwischen Dancehall und Oldschool HipHop mit Ausflügen in Richtung Trap und andere aktuelle Sounds mit viel Bass. Die beiden spielen Back 2 Back und TKZ nimmt auch mal das Mic in die Hand.

Thorsten W. blickt auf fast 20 Jahre Erfahrung als DJ zurück und hat schon die meisten Stuttgarter Clubs aus Blickrichtung der DJ-Kanzel gesehen – sei es zusammen mit Tom Baeuerle bei Soul Glow, zusammen mit DJ Friction bei Feel Alright oder als Resident im legendären 12Inch. Sein Herz gehört dem Soul, was er seit zwei Jahren mit seiner Partyreihe The Soul zeigt, aber auch HipHop und Artverwandtes waren schon immer Bestandteil seiner Sets.

TKZ war um die Jahrtausendwende als Freestyle-MC unterwegs, bevor er Teil des Stuttgarter Labels Soundschieber wurde und solo als deutschsprachiger MC Ragga und Rap Tracks auf Vinyl veröffentlichte. Zudem war er live als MC mit verschiedenen Reggae Soundsystems unterwegs. 2012 meldete er sich nach längerer Pause mit dem Track „Politesse“ auf dem „Kickdown Riddim“ der Stuttgarter Jugglerz Crew zurück und hostet seit 2014 im 3-Monats-Rhythmus die Roots-Partyreihe Rootikal in der Bar Romantica.
