This song is like a sketchbook! I want to write something about the dark secrets in a British family. You know like in some British dramas with a sinister manor and creepy family members.
I like old murder mystery games like "Cluedo" ("Clue" in North America).

Each part is improvised (even if I had a rough idea of ​​the piece before playing). In this song, I didn't do midi editing so there might be some little mistakes (I am a very bad keyboard player) but the goal was to experiment and try to find some ideas.

Dear friends, I am so very worried about all the huge forest fires on our globe; in Australia, in Siberia, and most recently throughout the western United States and Canada. Is there no smart engineer or inventor who can find a system to detect fires early so that they can be fought effectively?
These forest fires are major threats to the climate - a lot of carbon dioxide is released and we loose oxygen makers and carbon dioxide assimilators!

Fire in the Forest

The air ain’t as it usually was - it used to be so clear and so smooth
we heard that the woods in the north are on fire
and the people must flee from their homes
and someone may also get killed in the flames

It is a great pity for the folks who are affected by the fire around their homes
they can see how their lives are shattered in one day
and it's awful to live with all the smoke around
and the light of the cities is frighteningly dull

How strange that we can't detect it at once when the fire is in its infancy
there must be wise people who can find a smart way
to be able to fight the fire in time
and prevent that the disaster never will come

When the forests are burning, a lot of carbon dioxide is released to the sky
and furthermore we loose a lot of plants
that can assimilate the greenhouse gas
which is so harmful for the climate on our globe
