An all-vinyl mix of dance music encompassing boogie funk, electro, deep house, soul, and disco. 

I want this mix to reflect my history with DJing and my current approach and attitude towards the craft. It is a product of humid Pittsburgh Summers spent in the DJ booth, out of town digging missions, and the friendship and respect of my peers and mentors. It's imperfect, a bit dusty, sometimes a little off-kilter, but completely me. Here it is- fresh for '22!

This Summer we lost a Pittsburgh institution, the funkiest grocery store in the world, the Bloomfield Shur-Save IGA. Though the quality of their steaks was questionable, the quality of their tunes was undeniable. I spent many days aimlessly wandering the aisles & trainspotting tracks. Every boogie funk oriented DJ based in Pittsburgh agreed: the Shur-Save was a better DJ than any of us. And while it's been gone for about 6 months now, its legacy remains. The Community Market could never. While not a literal representation of the music played in-store, this mix is my tribute to the one of a kind ~vibe~ embodied by the Shur-Save. Enjoy.
