Tim Phaswana aka C-Slow is a hip hop artist aged 35 from Venda in Limpopo. His passion for hip hop music started back in 1996 when he started a group called UGK (underground Kings) with fellow members Victor Maboya then known as Fluster G and Doctor Mapankula aka (Docpell).After a good working relation with UGK, C-Slow then moved to Pretoria to further his studies in Information Technology and so did the rest of the group. They then decided to focus on individual projects as the distance between them made it difficult to continue as a group. C-Slow then release a single titled “Get your hands up“ that made waves back in Limpopo and was the beginning of his solo career. He later started experimenting with production and started producing beats (Hip hop & house).After a long stay In PTA he then moved back to Venda his home town to establish himself. He started working with a record label called Infant Soul and released a single titled “Look at me now” produced by DJ Joni Dip. In no time he was performing at major events to promote his single and graced stages at some of the biggest music events to date like the Pre Gumba Fire, Polokwane’s beach Parties and many more. 

 
Currently he is based in Polokwane where he is working on his soon to be release Mixtape tiltled “Picture Perfect”. This 11 track master piece is a must have as it really embodies his diversity in music where we see him working with the likes of Vic Mash (former UGK member Fluster G), C-les (Kwaito Artist), Skinnz ( from Nigeria) and many other talents producing a 5 star product.
Hip hop music is evolving and C-Slow seems to be evolving with it. His style of rap is unique giving birth to a sub-genre he calls Monyaka (a mixture of different genre incorporated into hip hop music)
Mr Monyaka as he is also know to his fellow artists and fans continues to realise his dream of being a major band in the music industry as his popularity grows and his music finding airplay on local radio stations like Capricorn FM, Thobela FM and campus radio stations. This is the journey of a Limpopo based Artist making music and panting a picture for all to see and relate.
