New Bass Day! I finally got myself my own bass, a Yamaha TRBX 305 and I thought I'd make a wee clip to test it out. I'm also using my Ibanez RG8 for this clip.

Hey all! I recently got myself an Axe-FX II and a Mayones Regius 7M so I though I'd try the two of them out in a new test clip! They're both absolutely amazing pieces of gear and both sound amazing. The Regius is a dream to play as well!

I absolutely love the split coil neck pickup tone that is used on TesseracT's new album Polaris and since I my Mayones Regius 7 has a split coil, I thought I'd try and get a similar sort of tone by recording a little mixtest/TesseracT rip off!

Another mixtest with the new Axe-FX II Quantum Firmware and the Metal Machinery SDX, playing a section of 'The Bad Thing' by Periphery. I've tuned up a step to BADGBE (lol, there's even the word 'Bad' in the tuning) because my 6 strings are always in standard or drop D, not drop C.

Made a few tweaks to the drums and the overall mix. I'm still trying to get the levels right and the drums also seem to jump up in volume during fills, but it's something that I'll get in time I think!

Obviously I do not own these tracks. I simply uploaded them from the RPG game "Blank Dream". I just wanted to share the OST with people, as it is pretty good. This is not all the tracks however. They are labeled as "Background Music" for a reason.
