New little piece for the c3 sandbox!

"Alcyone" is a short composition written for a friend to use for a role-playing game. Orchestral samples from Garritan Personal Orchestra 2, and synth sounds by myself using the Heat VST Synthesizer available for Android. Electric bass sample used is OM Bass by Samsara Cycle Audio.  Created using Overture 4, Reaper, and--yes--Audacity (because I'm not a pro with Reaper yet).

Carolina Contemporary Composers, or c3 for short, is a group of composers living in North Carolina's Triangle area.  We decided to pool our talents in order to share musical ideas, put together concerts, learn more about our craft, and present our music to the world.  Our individual musical styles vary, but you can expect to hear influences from across many genres in our compositions.  We hope that you enjoy them, and please spread the word about us if you do!
