Motorway is a debut album by Stephen Hemstritch-Johnston aka Fearofdark, a signature work that definitely stood the test of time since its original release in 2012.

The jazz and funk grooves composed with changing times and new adventures in mind, taking inspiration from the fact of moving away from home, and being away from family for the first time in life.

The remastered version was a project that lasted for more than two years. Every track was carefully re-mixed and re-mastered from the original sources to get the sound aligned with Exit Plan, Fearofdark's significant follow-up to Motorway.

After about 4 years of hiatus from making serious music and putting effort into making another album i'm finally back! This album has it all, chilled out slow tracks, upbeat pumping tracks, darker tones and happy melodies. It's a mix of everything i love with Video Game Music.

My goal with this album is to go back to my roots and show how much my quality and production value has increased since my first true album "Insert Coin". This album uses artwork similar to "Insert Coin" and is like a spiritual successor to it. 

The overall theme is nostalgia, created with my own signature style and unique chiptune/fakebit sound.
