"BassToxic" is the first launched project of the More Bass Records Volume Series in 2024. I wanted to create an album series with variations/ angles of where the levels and energy of Chicago FOOTWORK music can go. Battle, Club & other Dance Vibe types.

Some spin-off tracks and music with inspired sounds and elements of a different genre. Pure positive or straight gritty from the beats to the saying(s). Created from the top of the dome & even by resamples of classic songs to present, we all win.

Every sequence has consequences.

sqnc:cnsqnc was born from this simple idea;
write with a more rhythmic approach.

After two years of sound design and ethereal exploration,
this project marks a deliberate and lasting return to sequenced composition.

It explores a radical minimalism through cyclic patterns,
fast kicks, and sharp clips,
balanced with organic, unsequenced ambiances and textures.

It is also an attempt to infuse the free-party soundscape
(heard in the intro and in the hard, distorted kicks of certain tracks)
into a radical, rhythmic, and minimalist approach to composition.

Deeply rooted in IDM, techno, tribe, hi-tech, and breakcore,
this record focuses on movement and variation in listening
while maintaining a heady, repetitive energy.

Space Drum Meditation’ first release on Paryìa dives deep into their artistic identity, blending tribal rhythms with hypnotic techno. Known for their ability to fuse ancient and modern soundscapes, the duo has developed a signature style, combining esoteric instruments with modern electronic elements to create an immersive genre-blurring sound. This release embodies their signature style, balancing hypnotic textures and combining them with driving energy. Adding a new twist, the artist Blue Hour delivers a more fast and powerful techno remix, intensifying the rhythmic flow while staying true to the duo’s entrancing aesthetic.

Pushing their sonic vision forward, Space Drum Meditation once again showcase their ability to bridge fast and slow tempos, creating music that moves both — body and mind. For the first time, they step beyond their own label to release on Paryìa, marking their first debut- EP outside of their own Label.

PREMIERE: Terminus - Falling Dust [BTVA006]

The newest undertaking emerging from Ghosttowns’ sphere, introduces the VA-format to the label for the first time. Born out of the synergy of gathering some ever-inspiring artists through a united drive, this project sheds light on the rather uncompromising aspects of its identity. Over the course of ten tracks, some of the most capable producers display a phenomenally transgressive hybridity in sound, while granting a multitude of highly effective appliances. Between raw power, absorbing complexity and polyrhythmic thunderstorms every contribu - tor expressed a personal take on the high-energy demanding moments.
