Following her contribution to Superclásico Vol. 2, we’re thrilled to welcome Closet Yi to the Clasico family properly with Cloudborne 888: four tracks of psychedelic but focused electronics.

We’ve been long-time admirers of Closet Yi’s work – from early gems on No Bad Days through to standout releases on Hotflush, Honey Badger and Peggy Gou’s Gudu label. Hailing from Seoul but increasingly active across the UK and Europe, she’s graced booths at Village Underground, Corsica Studios and Lost Village with the best of them, and made her Boiler Room debut alongside firm friends of the label Finn, Anz, Mogwaa and Sharda — need we say more?

Written in the wake of a Chinese tour last year, where Closet “played music in some places that really expanded my vision,” Cloudborne 888 takes cues from cities the size of small countries to mountain towns like Dali, where, in her words, “the nature was bizarre.” The result is some of the trippiest, most immersive music we’ve released yet: hazy synth washes, endlessly delayed textures and percussive grooves that feel like they’re unravelling and reassembling themselves in real time.

But while it drifts and bends, it never meanders — each track carries a pulse, a direction, and a restless momentum. It’s club music built on movement and memory, tension and release, with a sense of spatial depth that opens up new corners on every listen. Rhythmic storytelling between structure and spontaneity, made for open roads, dark rooms, and anywhere else you might find yourself lost in thought.
In Closet’s words: “the piece is a reflection of movement – physically and mentally – and I hope it gives people space to zone out for a bit and wander and imagine.”

Curated by Feed Ivy, IVYCAST is a mix series that gives artists space to tell their story through sound. Each episode captures a unique vision, offering a deep dive into the influences, moods and energy that define the artist's world.

For Episode 2 we welcome Italian born, Australia based Pusky, an artist redefining the underground with a genre bending sound. From electro house and tribal techno to breakbeats, acid, funk and bounce, she fuses high octane energy with bass heavy futurism and Latin fire. Her latest mix is a pure snapshot of that sound, a relentless ride through retro futuristic electro, jungle rhythms, percussive techno and experimental club textures, all delivered with her trademark vibrant energy.

Self managed and fiercely driven, Pusky’s sound reflects a life shaped by reggaeton roots, rave culture and a bold desire to carve space for women in electronic music. She has played for renowned crews including Rinn ne, Dissent, Two Step, Credits Records and Closure, lighting up dance floors at Blackbear Lodge, Echo and Bounce, Quivr, Pulse, Prohibition, Bunker and venues across Queensland, as well as supporting acts such as Rudimental, 6 Sense, Djalí, Scrappa and Charlie Shell.

This mix captures her vision in full force, weaving driving percussion, bass heavy grooves and bursts of breakbeat energy into a sound that is both fearless and deeply rooted in the dance floor. It is vibrant, high energy and impossible to stand still to.

We are back in action. After a few months of silence, the label is again active with a fresh release straight to the dance floor. The protagonist of this comeback is @matteojust, a German multidisciplinary artist who presents a short but powerful EP, designed for DJs and uncompromising dance lovers.

In “bairro bairro”, Matteo fuses the vibrant energy of Brazilian funk with structures and textures typical of techno: enveloping melodies, sharp percussion, and grooves that never let up on the dance floor. A sonic cocktail that exudes party spirit, dynamism, and pure intention to get bodies moving. In addition to the two original tracks that present the EP is an amazing remix by none other than our dear @apeidon__, a tune that has already made it to a couple of Rinse FM shows and is thought of as a straight dancefloor tool.
