@youngneska is a DJ and producer from the mythological land of the Basque Country. Recently relocated to Amsterdam, she started her electronic music path in Barcelona two years ago, quickly turning into one of the most promising upcoming DJs in the scene, playing at Sónar and Primavera Sound festival alongside having a residency in Human Club. She also curates Fauna & Flora, a multidisciplinary event that mixes electronic music with digital art, and hosts her own radio show Neskafe on Dublab radio. I turned 30 the 09/09/22 and was heading to one of the best summer gathering, Sarcus Festival.
I played the day after surrounded by many friends & artists I like. 

I prepared this set for almost 2 months because I wanted it to be like a retrospective of the path I walked in electronic music during the past 13 years. 
I tried to include as much tracks of the different styles I grew up with with the things I discovered at that time that I really felt like playing at a 6-9pm slot.
A couple of months after the festival, the file I was sent was corrupted, with just a little click at the beginning. One of my USB sticks was near the end so the history folder was messy and I tried to remember my set as I played it. Since I prepared almost 75% of it, it was quite easy.

I recorded it nearly 6 months after this moment on a sunny morning, and I'm happy to finally sharing it with the world.

You'll find in here loads of lazers, zaps, wizzes, noises and probably an unreasonable use of DJM's dub echo.

Big shout out to the Sarcus Team and to all people who made this journey go the way it went.

Glad to announce a new mix from Hunay Saday. To be introduced by her own words. 
"Within this mix, I managed to include nearly 3-4 different genres that bring me great pleasure while mixing, particularly percussion - reminiscent of the ones I used to hear at weddings in Azerbaijan when I was a kid. I now listen to them differently since electronic music became involved, but the feeling is the same, or sometimes even greater. It's been 12 years since my departure from my home country, and my dreams, the films I make, as well as these kinds of mixes, are the only way for me to travel back there, to my childhood memories."
