Jamuary2025 Day 8 - Bad thoughts

Imagine yourself as a Buddhist monk steering a spaceship, overcoming cosmic obstacles through deep meditation. Throughout the piece, sudden sonic barriers appear as challenges, but they are gracefully overcome by a sustained deep electronic bass - the grounding force of meditation. This sonic journey is guided by a steady rhythmic pulse until the final approach, where short vocal fragments weave into the texture. The piece ends with a dramatic full-stop effect, in which all the sounds suddenly stop and part in space - like a spaceship completing a landing sequence on a distant planet. 

Just as each of us is the captain of our own spaceship (of our lives), this piece reminds us that through meditation we can overcome all obstacles to reach our own destination planet - our personal goals and dreams.
