I wanted the mix to be in a mixtape format that you might listen to in the car or on a train journey - a varied mix crossing over intersecting boundaries of different genres of music, linked by a sense of movement / pulse, and listened to when you are moving from one place to another. (Perhaps even when you are enjoying a sandwich on the bus.)

I was at home, on Easter Sunday morning, watching the sun starting to shine through the clouds onto my deck, where my dog was stretched out half napping, enjoying herself and listening to the music.
