The song is bright and upbeat, and uses a pulsing baseline and synths to tell the story of a boy crushing on a boy, without knowing if they share the same sexuality. The song stays lighthearted until the end, where you get a bigger dive into what your mind goes through when you're constantly falling for straight men.
