Grandfather Querubín Queta Alvarado is the maximum authority of the Yagé culture at the foot of the Amazonian mountain and a reference icon in terms of the rights of indigenous peoples, their culture, uses and customs. The Taita Querubín, is a 110-year-old shaman (in 2023), and represents the legacy of thousands of years of shamanic tradition of the Cofán people and the native peoples of the Amazon jungle. In this photo he is in his 20s. His legacy lives on and this song is a small tribute and tribute to the power of his grandfather and the work he did throughout his life.

El Abuelo Querubín Queta Alvarado es la autoridad máxima de la cultura del Yagé en el pie de monte amazónico y un ícono referente en cuanto a los derechos de los pueblos indígenas, su cultura, usos y costumbres. El Taita Querubín, es un chamán de 110 años (en 2023), y representa el legado de miles de años de tradición chamanica del pueblo Cofán y de los pueblos originarios de la selva amazónica. En esta foto él está en sus 20s. Su legado persiste y esta canción es un pequeño homenaje y tributo al poder del abuelo y la obra que realizó a lo largo de su vida.
