Este es el viaje que emprendió una flor, buscando sus raíces y nutrirse del sol.

Un viento del sur la traslado a Colombia, con sonidos del güiro recordó a sus abuelas bailar y movió sus pétalos  a reventar.

Varios días adornando las tamboras vivió.

Tan linda era la flor, que el mar caribe se enamoró, ella felizmente en sus aguas claras y mareas fuertes floto.  Varios pececitos le contaron que era la costa más linda que existió, tanto que vírgenes bajaban a sentir su calor.

Gustosa estiro sus raíces en la casa de San José, la flor feliz de crecer en una tierra donde las montañas  abrazan los días, la gente se alegra y comparte sonrisas.

Los movimientos de enaguas al son del folclor le hicieron pensar, y parar de rodar.

El sonido del hip hop que el viento callejero le acerco, le hizo probar las mil formas de girar, pero aun no encontraba su lugar. Dejo que el  ritmo le vibrara en el centro del interior y se elevó. Subió y subió, donde San Rita con sus fiestas la resguardo.

Un pueblo de maíz y resistencia la dejaron llena de luchas. Colores morenos, mezclas diversas, de  corazones infinitos combinaron sus andanzas con sabores de cumbias rebajas.

La vida viene y va, y la flor volvió a bajar.

Ponchita la vidente le confirmo que su vida era viajar. Su misión era explorar, aprender junto a sus maestras la Quena y Zampoña que la mantuvieron despierto su andar.

Esta flor por España, Canadá y Reino Unido paseo, llenando sus células de historias y color.

No existe final en una historia pigmentada, de un viaje a corazón abierto que en vez de raíces encontró movimientos curvos por la música, permitiéndose probar y trotar el mundo sin parar.

Y colorín colorado este cuento ha empezado.

“Vidita” EP (Global Hybrid Records / 42 Records) is a taste of the new album by Go Dugong (Italian producer based in Milan), coming out in March 2018. A global music devotee, Go Dugong continues a journey, started with “Novanta” (42 Records / Fresh Yo!) in 2015, through exotic sounds, passing from Africa to Latin America, always trying to mix instead of embracing a prede ned genre. If the topic of “Novanta” was that of the metropolitan cultural clash, this album was born with the aim to dig deeper and nd its roots. 

The inspiration comes from the enchantment of the rst civilizations, whose myths and legends are inevitably linked to nature and the universe; This generates songs inspired by tribal beliefs, mythological gures, rituals and esotericism which, not by chance, often refer to divinities or superior civilizations arrived from outer space. The result is again a hybrid of rhythms, styles and musical genres: Afro, Andean and Amazonian music, dub, psychedelic and cosmic blend with the aim of telling a journey; Go Dugong’s research leitmotiv. 

The single “Vidita” is a tribute to the folk music of the Argentine Northwest; the wild song of the Andes is played by Miriam García, Argentinean musician and actress as well as one of the greatest researchers and performers of coplas, poetic compositions...  more

This is an edit of a song I heard for the first time while traveling in Morocco recently, when I close my eyes I can envision the massive bay in which I lived where the sand dunes reached out to the touch of the ocean, where the sunset always filled the sky with rich colours of deep orange to a dreamlike rose, and the stars always shone bright in the night stretching to infinity. "Je Pense A Toi" means "I'm thinking of you" in French, when I hear this song I think of this place and mystical energy the the land there holds, it transports me back to the ancient sacred lands of Africa.

The soundscape in the beginning of this edit was created by putting together recording that I made while in Morocco, the ambience of wind at sunrise near the ocean and the sound of light footsteps on dry argan seeds.

The original version of this song is from the album "Sou Ni Tilé" by Amadou et Mariam. Thank you for creating such beautiful music!

Caballito da a luz en una cálida Granada en septiembre de 2010, fruto del reencuentro entre Bigote y Grita, dos auténticos exploradores y recicladores de los ritmos latinoamericanos.
Pioneros en nuestro país en esta corriente ElecTropical que poco a poco va invadiendo todo el globo, empiezan sus andadas publicando varias mixtapes en su propia web y en distintos blogs del subterráneo movimiento. Pronto decidirían ilustrar sus mezclas con una explosión de gifs animados, vídeos y colores estridentes y muy chillones (creados por ellos, son también apasionados de la imagen), creando así un entorno psicodélico, divertido y uniforme. Fue entonces cuando Grita y Bigote decidieron lanzarse a la producción estableciendo su propio netlabel, siguiendo la línea de la licencia libre (Creative Commons). De esta forma, todo lo publicado en Caballito, ya sean producciones suyas o de otros artistas, fluye libremente por la red.

Caballito is born in Granada, in September 2010, when Daniel aka Bigote and David aka Grita meet again. It was a while since these two guys were checking out traditional Latino-American rhythms and discovering the Digital Cumbia, new Tropical style emerging all around the world.
Caballito, pioneer in our Country within this musical current, started publishing mixtapes in his own web and in different blogs, with the intention of breaking our hips. But quickly this world was too small for them, so they started to flood us with videos and psychedelic gifs. Was at that time when Grita y Bigote jumped into production creating their own netlabel, whose phylosophy follow the free licence idea. All the stuff published - their own productions and the collaborators’ ones - all flow freely through the web.
