FLAVE es una artista peruana radicada en Stuttgart que, influenciada por la escena techno alemana, fusiona de manera orgánica ritmos latinos como reggaetón, cumbia, dembow y otros, navegando entre paisajes sonoros de bajo y alto BPM. Además, es gestora cultural en CONTAIN'T y parte del colectivo UN TOQUE, siendo una de las pioneras del Latin Club en Stuttgart. Su trabajo ha abierto espacios para el Latin Core en la ciudad, colaborando en eventos como la Label Night de MUAKK en la Neue Oper, expandiéndose desde Viena hasta Torino. Apoyada por el Pop Stipendium 2025 , FLAVE lanzará su primer EP junto a ZPECTRUM a finales de este año.

Love In The Endz & Matraca presentan [untitled] Perú: Afuera

Perú: Afuera es el primer volumen de un lanzamiento doble, que pone en foco a artistas peruanxs dentro de la música electrónica. El álbum será presentado este 13 de junio como un esfuerzo colaborativo por los sellos Love In The Endz (UK) y Matraca (PE).

Afuera reúne tracks inéditos de artistas de Perú radicados en el extranjero como DNGDNGDNG, Orieta Chrem, Qechuaboi, Tribilin Sound, Lukrø, Vitu Valera, Alexia.wav, entre otros. Dentro del disco se presentan una diversidad de géneros e híbridos Bass influenciados por la cultura peruana junto a ritmos como Baile Funk, Guaracha, Cumbiaton, Breaks y más.

El arte de la portada presenta un detalle de Vinapu ubicado en la isla de Rapa Nui (actualmente parte de Chile). Este muro de piedra se asemeja y nos recuerda muchísimo a la factura de los muros incas en Cuzco como Saysachuaman y Machu Picchu. En ese sentido queremos denotar la influencia y alcance de la cultura peruana desde tiempos precolombinos hasta la actualidad en el mundo.

PREMIERE | FLAVE - Ojos de caramelo (LITE032)

The ‘island boy with internet’ is back, armed with a sampler and thousands of kilometres of fibre-optic cable. 

As dembow courses through the circuitry of club culture in the global North, who better to help us make sense of it.

That’s why Dominican artist DJ SOSA RD has returned with a second set of sample-heavy, genre-blurring collisions based around the island’s current signature rhythm. He’s here to educate as well as stimulate, with four tracks that pay explicit tribute to dembow’s originators. 

Sounding like LFO on a ragga tip, ‘i don’t even smoke’ pays dues to dembow’s spiritual godfather Monkey Black as well as innovator El Lapiz (whose work with DJ Scuff helped shape the genre’s early sound). Monkey gets a second shout out on ‘is lit’, alongside La Delfy, the scene’s first openly gay artist, which adds a shot of UK hardcore to the mix, while one of dembow’s new radicals Angel Dior inspires the wild, ruff’n’tuff dub of ‘uptown girl’.

And to throw in something different, dj g2g and PZZS take us back to the first edition of ‘island boy with internet’ turning ‘gamo aqui sin’ into a baile funk rave belter. Fidgety and hyper-present, it’s an underground EDM wet dream that just can’t be ignored. 

This EP is a testament to sampling as an art form and as a living, breathing archive of musical and cultural history. It also reminds us that however different they seem, rave culture and dembow share a pair of essential ingredients: that built from scratch DIY spirit, that restless creativity that won’t stand still.

With contributors hailing from Colombia, Mexico, Ecuador, Germany, the U.S., China, U.K., and France, the compilation reads as a dispatch from a network of producers who share an intuitive understanding of rhythm-forward, bass-weighted dance music, no matter where they call home.

26Degrees is a DJ and producer based in Germany, who likes to explore the interconnections between various club and rave genres. His sound has been shaped by the local scene of his hometown Karlsruhe while also drawing from influences from UK Bass, Latin Club and early Rave Music. 26Degrees’ productions have been played by artists like Ma Sha or Dangermami and has been featured on various radio stations like BBC Radio One and Rinse FM.

“El sonido de Caballito refleja el calor, la alegría, las raíces, las ganas de mover el culo, el sudor, la buena onda...”
Caballito da a luz en una cálida Granada en septiembre de 2010, fruto del reencuentro entre Bigote y Grita, dos auténticos exploradores y recicladores de los ritmos latinoamericanos.
Pioneros en nuestro país en esta corriente ElecTropical que poco a poco va invadiendo todo el globo, empiezan sus andadas publicando varias mixtapes en su propia web y en distintos blogs del subterráneo movimiento. Pronto decidirían ilustrar sus mezclas con una explosión de gifs animados, vídeos y colores estridentes y muy chillones (creados por ellos, son también apasionados de la imagen), creando así un entorno psicodélico, divertido y uniforme. Fue entonces cuando Grita y Bigote decidieron lanzarse a la producción estableciendo su propio netlabel, siguiendo la línea de la licencia libre (Creative Commons). De esta forma, todo lo publicado en Caballito, ya sean producciones suyas o de otros artistas, fluye libremente por la red.

Caballito is born in Granada, in September 2010, when Daniel aka Bigote and David aka Grita meet again. It was a while since these two guys were checking out traditional Latino-American rhythms and discovering the Digital Cumbia, new Tropical style emerging all around the world.
Caballito, pioneer in our Country within this musical current, started publishing mixtapes in his own web and in different blogs, with the intention of breaking our hips. But quickly this world was too small for them, so they started to flood us with videos and psychedelic gifs. Was at that time when Grita y Bigote jumped into production creating their own netlabel, whose phylosophy follow the free licence idea. All the stuff published - their own productions and the collaborators’ ones - all flow freely through the web.
