Em parceria com o cantor e compositor Hercílio Nicoladelli no qual assina a música original, o produtor Dallanoras veio com a proposta de produzir um remix da música mantendo o bpm original, trabalhando com percussões e synths numa pegada que lembrasse um sonho, preservando a mensagem original da música que soa como um mantra.

To warm our hearts we bring the strength of the sacred fire to clarify ideas and light our way in this little world. In partnership with the singer and composer Hercílio Nicoladelli, in which he signs the original music, producer Dallanoras came up with the proposal to produce a remix of the song keeping the original bpm, working with percussions and synths in a footprint that resembles a dream, preserving the original message of music that sounds like a mantra.

With rhtyhmic elements of footwork, dub, ambient, breakbeats and DnB, Especies Afines are an uplifiting and energetic series of tracks, full of detail and bass heavy rhythms, and deeply enveloping ambient cushions that give off an energy that is both hot and calm like an bonfire, transparent and liquid, like a quicksilver prisma.

To celebrate five years since Shika Shika was founded in 2015, the border-crossing organic-electronic collective today releases “Shika Shika 5 Years” - a celebratory double vinyl. The album features a selection of the label’s most-loved tracks on vinyl for the first time such as Yeahman’s summer anthem “Miniyamba”, History of Colour’s classic “Cinder” alongside music by Egyptian singer Dina al Wedidi, German duo JAJA and Sh Sh founders Barrio Lindo and El Buho.

Since 2015 the artist-first label has released music by over 60 artists from 34 countries, including 10 vinyl records and one crowdfunder. It has also created a globally connected community of fans and artists united by the concept of music without borders. The label has made a name for itself for highlighting musical migrations: sounds that mix together cultural influences, tradition with modernity or electronica with organic and natural sounds.

“El sonido de Caballito refleja el calor, la alegría, las raíces, las ganas de mover el culo, el sudor, la buena onda...”
Caballito da a luz en una cálida Granada en septiembre de 2010, fruto del reencuentro entre Bigote y Grita, dos auténticos exploradores y recicladores de los ritmos latinoamericanos.
Pioneros en nuestro país en esta corriente ElecTropical que poco a poco va invadiendo todo el globo, empiezan sus andadas publicando varias mixtapes en su propia web y en distintos blogs del subterráneo movimiento. Pronto decidirían ilustrar sus mezclas con una explosión de gifs animados, vídeos y colores estridentes y muy chillones (creados por ellos, son también apasionados de la imagen), creando así un entorno psicodélico, divertido y uniforme. Fue entonces cuando Grita y Bigote decidieron lanzarse a la producción estableciendo su propio netlabel, siguiendo la línea de la licencia libre (Creative Commons). De esta forma, todo lo publicado en Caballito, ya sean producciones suyas o de otros artistas, fluye libremente por la red.

Caballito is born in Granada, in September 2010, when Daniel aka Bigote and David aka Grita meet again. It was a while since these two guys were checking out traditional Latino-American rhythms and discovering the Digital Cumbia, new Tropical style emerging all around the world.
Caballito, pioneer in our Country within this musical current, started publishing mixtapes in his own web and in different blogs, with the intention of breaking our hips. But quickly this world was too small for them, so they started to flood us with videos and psychedelic gifs. Was at that time when Grita y Bigote jumped into production creating their own netlabel, whose phylosophy follow the free licence idea. All the stuff published - their own productions and the collaborators’ ones - all flow freely through the web.
