Reeko, also known as Architectural, started DJing in the late 90s and producing in the early 2000s, and he has released countless timeless records since. He founded the labels Mental Disorder and Evidence and was part of the PoleGroup collective for a decade. Collaborations with Surgeon, Oscar Mulero and Exium, as well as releases on many legendary labels, are part of his discography. "The Ever Present Silent Observer" is a collaboration with the Aussie musician Peter Haze AKA TETRAMETH. The track was started in Byron Bay and we wrapped it up in Tel Aviv. It has one of the funkiest bass-lines I ever recorded. Pete recorded a pick scratching the guitar strings, tribal drum-breaks and brought us the genius sample alongside with some dark atmosphere pads. I remember actually sampling their bathroom trash can as a gong hit at some point :) It was a pleasure creating and an adventure collaborating with Pete for the 2nd time.

Ben Rama wrote this way back in 2017, and started playing it out in his live sets in 2018. While never planning on releasing this one, it always seemed to be a crowd favorite for its captivatingly hypnotic flow sent dancers into a trance every time. We've seen him experiment with this tech-trance leaning style before on his Muggi Dane and EEEMUS remixes, but this was the prototype for that sound. Look forward to his upcoming EP on Techgnosis Records later this year; if you dig this tune, you will love what we have in store from the boss man himself!
