I’m gonna cheat because I really want to do this song... It’s still a musical, but a TV one. I’m a sucker for Smash, especially it’s two fictional musicals “Bombshell” and “Hit List”. I did one from Bombshell, one of Marilyn’s songs. They Just Keep Moving the Line. Here’s me on a clip!

This musical wasn’t just robbed of a Tony, it was robbed of a nomination... Jekyll & Hyde is pretty much in my top three musicals of all time. The nominees for best musical that year were Titanic, Juan Darien, Steel Pier, and The Life. Like... What even? Titanic is okay I guess, but ugh. Wildhorn is so unappreciated. Who’s grandma did he offend on the Tony committee?

It breaks my heart to know that the proshot is with the worst Jekyll there could be, and that the revivals get weirder and weirder because the original is just so lovely. So yeah.
