Following the success of their debut EP on Lunatick Records earlier this year, South London jazz/hip-hop quartet Sumochief have once again teamed up with the UK based imprint to present a series of remixes from the acclaimed Sumobeats EP. 

First to present his unique take on the EP's opening track "1 Of 1" is York based producer Handbook. After a string of incredible releases, whether it's his solo instrumental work or working with talented emcees across the globe, Handbook has amassed a strong following over the last few years, establishing himself as one of the biggest names in the UK beat-scene.

The full EP is due to be released through Lunatick Records on the 28th of October 2014 with artwork from the talented Kristian Berge.

I wrote Lost Things in half an hour before the last recording session of the EP and it just happens to be the single, funny how that works out. Blake (producer) and I decided to go all out on this one and throw everything into it. I hope you enjoy listening to this song as much as I did writing and working on it.

Sleepless nights, painful discoveries, & hopelessness. Sometimes love can be painful to feel. Sometimes we love because we were never loved properly and our emotions are too hard to handle. We're so unhealthy that we begin to eliminate the person we once were, or even alter someone else's personality for the worst. This EP is the story of a toxic cycle and being too afraid to continue our own self journey. Things that hurt us often seem so familiar and comforting when we face new challenges. I only captured one dream sequence of the story, what will be yours?
