Exclusive Fiberroot 'Roccodrilo (Shall Ocin Remix)'

Clash Lion Records, run by Terr, Shall Ocin and Daniel Watts, is ready to release Fiberroot's EP 'Tierra'. The three tracker comes with two originals, 'Con Licencia Sibonei' and 'Roccodrillo', and Shall Ocin's majestic remix of the latter. The Argentinian DJ and producer, who has released on labels such as Bpitch Control, Ellum or Last Night On Earth, delivers a stomping techno take, which is built around twirling synth sounds with the potential of creating mental dance floor experiences. As Shall Ocin's take on 'Roccodrillo' proceeds the artist shifts his focus on sounds and exchanges the twirling synth with more calm synth chords giving the listener and dancer the opportunity to digest the aforementioned mental musical rollercoaster ride. 

Fiberroots's EP 'Tierra' will be released September 7th, 2018 on Clash Lion.

African house music champion Hyenah delivers a glorious remix of Zipheko’s Obileke: a raw, soulful, deeply engaging slice of 4/4 sorcery. 

Following the release of Zipheko’s original earlier this year, Hyenah has delivered a stunning reworking of Obileke. A deeply soulful, percussion-heavy cut with a beautiful, slowly built tension, Hyenah’s remix is a timeless expression of modern African house music and will surely find favour with DJs across the board. 

Hyenah was named Traxsource’s Afro House producer of the year in 2016, and has over the course of his illustrious career released on labels like Freerange, Objektivity, Poker Flat and Drumpoet Community. Taking Afro House to great lengths and parts unknown, Italian duo Bayaka delivers MoBlack Records’ 403rd imprint, laying out the “Goy Boyro” (The Good Work) with their energetic, Afro infused techno remix of Samba Toure’s 2018 masterpiece from the Malian singer/guitarist’s acclaimed Wande album. Rife with charged electronic swells and dynamic synth modulations that sit on lush percussion-driven groove and a looming bluesy disposition, Cristian and Giorgio embellish a prismatic backdrop, perfectly situating Samba Toure’s salient vocals and reverberating its sentimental hooks and poignant acoustics to punch deeper. 
Candidly capturing plights of guitar riffs and ngoni undulations blending with static recoils, warped synths and loops throughout the 7:12 minute journey, Bayaka reminisces the bracing juncture between afro house and techno, human and universe, gravity and motion - and in tandem, Toure’s lament comes alive. On B-side Bayaka does the handiwork, stripping out vocals for places in time too full for words - an exquisite instrumental version drapes the curtain for those intense dancefloor moments or intimate headphone meditations.
