This song was written for the Gear Gods Songwriting contest. Wrote this song in less than a day and recorded & mixed it in two days. 

The vibe of this track is definitely Old School Metal with some Speed influence. 

The lyrical topic is essentially about not relying on others for your happiness and being able to be strong on your own. In other words, people will always come and go, but in the end you have your integrity and goals to keep you afloat and moving forward, which can carry you to places beyond what you believe you're capable of going.

F-Zero is one of my favorite games from my childhood - I used to play this for hours on my SNES, and I still have the original cartridge!  

Fire Field was always my favorite track in the game.  I always thought the track itself looked pretty metal, and the music playing was pretty aggressive too, so I wanted to make my own version!  

There are parts that have bass harmonies, and I decided to add guitar harmonies for some flair.  In the end, this was a fun project!
