Vantara Vichitra Records is a service of the audio to your body, and mind; elaborately designed to cater to all your needs of existential greed – nutritive, spatial, conscious, and imaginative. We are a unified attempt to contribute to the world of psychedelic music through a balance of impeccably crafted soundscapes with unending narratives for your thought, filled with infinite mysterious dimensions. The only thing we cannot give you however, is ideology, ‘cause that’s got to be your own vehicle into the paradigms we create.
We aim to hybridize some of the best sonic soldiers from all over this chaotic sphere along with their potent weapons of ego-destruction into a spectral variety of mental voyages that you can travel through on your own ideology to create integrated experiences of the body and the spirit. Call us somewhat strange, but we’re into experiments involving the cosmic dance and we support the phenomenon of alternative expression.

Cacofonix has been instilling the psychedelic underground with his technical performances and unparalleled understanding of his track selection since 2004. A proponent of the forest discipline, he has played on huge lineups alongside Atriohm, Parasense, Samadhi, Full Face, Psychoson, Already Maged, Nolm, Gu, Saikozaurus, Fuzulu, Papiyan, Twisted Kala, White Wizard, Sabai, Kulu, Reality Pixie, Crazy Ducks, Jangaramongara, Psyborginal, Liquid Noize and MunkE across India, Thailand, Malaysia, Dubai, Singapore and Sri Lanka. He has also made an appearance in the Experience Festival Thailand in 2010. With such immense experience and repute at his side, he ventured into co-creating one of India’s leading psychedelic ensembles, Vantara Vichitra, not just moulding the label’s style with his signature track and artist selection in the splendid compilations they have released, but also in draping numerous psychedelic gatherings in the country in immensely beautiful and soulful colours and décor through VV’s décor collective. He is also responsible for the cover artwork of all their releases, which have received rave reviews from within the global psychedelic scene. Cacofonix has also dived into music production since half a decade or so and has been part of tracks released on Bijah Records, Liquid Frequency as well as a collaboration track on Vantara Vichitra.
