John Timmer-Arrends -John is a New Zealand based musician with a huge story to tell. Who else do you know that sets off on an 18 month coach trip across Africa and gets a phone call that his grandmother is ill in Holland so jumps off the bus and walks to Holland to wish her well? He walked across India,Pakistan,Afghanistan in fact you name a country and he walked across it and finally made it to see his sick relative.Weve all seen the photos and guess that certain inspirations for this album came from his more than interesting life.His dream was always to write his own album and select the musicians he wanted to play on it.New Zealand has real talent available so we reckon he just about used everybody! His love is country music which is where the soul of this album lies.It took John over a year to complete the album to his satisfaction and pull in the various musicians-the results speak for themselves.Whats next for John and Cactus Juice? John already has albums two three and four ready for recording!! Watch this space!
