Without any doubt one of the best songs I will ever have written. A still youthful voice sings lysergic wisdom poetry with a charming melody over simple instrument patterns and there are elegant transtions between the different parts. If I knew how to write only songs in this style, I would do so.
Quite sixtiesk popsike which is from my 2003 tape album "The Gentlemaniac" and also appears on the 25th anniversary compilation "Golden Caps" from 2014.

Cactus Cooper - No Measure

In 2005 I wrote some music for a theatre play for kids with a slightly scary plot. So I tried a song for myself in a rather dramatical style of singing and maybe I would have made more songs this way if not my recorder was showing first symptoms of disorder.
This song appeared on the first album not released as a cassette but only on a 30 minute CD called "Cactus Cooper remains mysterious" in 2007.

Cactus Cooper - Silver Fog

Like many other songs on my tape album "Remote-controlled Heartbeats" from 1994 this one was fuelled by an erratic relationship with a girl I could never be sure if we were going to heaven or going to hell.
This one I wrote in a moment when I was deeply doubtful what was the use of a relationship when my own action doesn't seem to have any influence on her being nice or nasty.

When I was still a teenie, a slightly older guy on a Freak-Party told me not to believe what the trees say to me when on LSD. A try to aggrandise himself, I guess. Unless he even knew that this would inspire me to write this sixtiesk psych marvel which appeared on my tape album "Sweet little 25" from 2004.

I think it was 1999 whenI bought a cheap old organ on a fleamarket in Cologne - my very first organ - and the first thing I did after having it carried home, was trying its potential. This song is the result.
It became the intro of my tape album "The Gentlemaniac" from 2003.
