The Cactus Quartet is a musical ensemble that started in Berlin in 2012, bonded by the members' love for cacti, jazz and dubious local bars with obscure germanic names. Based on the characteristic color of a cheap Hammond organ emulator, the main elements of the band are the accidental arrhythmic grooves, simultaneous solos and panic attacks. The quartet has been very active in the Berlin music scene performing their music live around the city for little or no money, which is no problem since exhaustive research has shown that musicians only feed on plastic bags and cigarettes.
