Italian tech house titan Davide Squillace makes his full Moon Harbour debut with a fantastic new single that follows a number of remixes on the label over the years. 

This And That label boss and Circoloco hero Squillace has been a core part of the global house underground for many years. His sets are legendary, his productions never fail to make their mark and his friendship with Moon Harbour boss Matthias Tanzmann goes back decades and includes them working together with Martin Buttrich as part of the Better Lost Than Stupid supergroup. 

Squillace shows his skills once more on 'Smart Dance Stupid Floor,' a high intensity track that keeps on building. The crisp drum programming is turbocharged and constantly evolving. It is overlaid with sweeping filters, textured hits and twisted vocal loops that all add up to a fiery and unrelenting groove for the peak of the night.

Pablo Cahn is a talented producer hailing from and currently residing in Bogota, Colombia. "Soul Rain" is his third release on Cadenza, and it comes with a massive remix by the Spanish don Paco Osuna.

The original mix of Pablo is a long attractive dance floor tune textured by an overwhelming bass line and a deluge of vocal grains that shapes a large number of fills and break downs all over the track. As the journey go further, a complex twist of harmonies and resonances arise from the rhythmic grounds, shining over a blissful body of beats.

Paco Osuna's remix recap all the rhythmic elements and shrink the vocal drizzle maintaining their relevance to the building of the track. The bare inter-twin of its relentless bass line and its stinging hi-hats works out a magnificent outbreak of the dense original tissue of chords.

Long-time German house label Kittball welcome Italian pair The Deepshakerz for two more of their effective dance floor detonators.
This duo of Domy Berardino and Mirco Sonatore are real musical magpies who draw from old school, new school, Chicago, afro, vocal and tech styles to cook up their high impact sounds. They are favoured by DJs like Luciano, Dubfire and Loco Dice and land on highly visible labels like Saved and Snatch! amongst many others.

Now, off the back of their already formidable individual careers, the three electronic musketeers join forces with long-time friend and esteemed stage designer, Alban Piot, for their foursome’s first collective project and one of the most exciting label launches of 2020 – Sacré Coeur Records.

Speaking about the newly formed imprint, Damien Almira commented:

Dropping on Friday, October 2, the EP kicks off with a retrospective, ravey title track from Timid Boy, who expertly layers old school synth lines, dark soundscapes and intricate drum patterns, to deliver his impressive debut contribution to the label’s catalogue.

On the flip, the second offering sees Timid Boy hand the reigns to label partners Ohmme, as members Olivier Giacomotto & David Lecocq present their modern interpretation of the original with an upfront, dance floor-ready remix of epic proportions. Last but by no means least, rising French star Matt Sassari steps up to the plate to deliver his own unique edit, as the in-form producer from Marseilles completes a stunning label debut and one of the biggest techno EPs of the year.
