A song written, composed and produced by me. John/Ian wrote his own rap part of the song, and I fit it in into the song in production. It speaks of how we, regardless of what others label us or tell us to conform to, should trust the voice in our head. Staying true to who we are, and not letting such expectations replace that. Based on my life experiences these past few years, as I was constantly trying to appease others by trying to sing songs or do things that I was not passionate for, and I have come to the realisation to be strong and stay true to who I am, and what I love to do. Through this song, I also want to make this my advice to John/Ian not to be let down by others' comments and hate, but to pursue his own dreams and treasure such a skill that is quite rare to find in Singapore.

I am an aspiring singer-songwriter in Singapore. Starting my YouTube channel at the age of 15, my originals as well as covers were uploaded, recieving numerous views. 

I am more inclined to the pop genre, and thus my originals do have the pop vibe in them. My first original, which took 4 years in the making, was 'Dreams Come Alive', an electropop song. This followed with more originals in the likes of 'See the Sunlight', and the most recent, 'Voices (in my head)'. These songs he wrote and composed surround the ideas of self- confidence, being strong for oneself.
