Imagine a journey with me — a marathon mix that celebrates the diversity of grooves I adore, all while riding the wave of amapiano rhythms, the lifeblood of this musical adventure. From the fiery Afro-Latin beats to the infectious energy of Afrobeat, we'll dance from Brazil to Colombia, soar from Nigeria to South Africa, and even take a detour through the diverse streets of Quebec, with other global echoes woven in.

I call this creation 'Amamore'. It's more than just a mix; it's a bridge between worlds, an amapiano love story, and 'amor' for the melodies that move us. It's an invitation to experience the diversity that amapiano can offer, binding disparate tunes into a long-form symphony that will keep your spirit soaring whether you're in motion or still, from the sweat of the gym to the focus of your office.

With each beat, feel the defiant spirit of South Africa, the land of a thousand rhythms and a beacon of diversity, whose revolutionary heart helped shatter the chains of apartheid. This spirit lives in the collaborative soul of amapiano, where artists unite to craft hits that are anthems of inclusivity.

This mix is my passion, my offering to you — to introduce new sounds, to unite through music, and to inspire you to dive deeper into the stories of these artists and genres.

Counting the likes of Wonderland, Notion, GQ, Glamour, BBC 1Xtra, Billboard and Soulection as fans, Gina Jeanz is not only flying the flag for electronic music in Africa, but she is also one of the few women producers across the African music scene – the fact of which drives her passion to uplift and empower more women in the industry. Revered for her skills on the decks as well as her production and music-making dexterities, Gina has also captivated audiences the world over with her DJ sets and is undoubtedly one of Africa’s rising stars.
