Started mc-ing at the tender age of 13 years old on a Reggae Discotech going by the name of Freedom Sound Movements.A local sound in the Nw region managed by the owner,Justin who built the sound after coming over from Jamaica in the late seventies.First,playing at house parties and dances in the London Region & outer, started to get a reputation for being a operator & selector of music.Playing tunes from reggae to Soul,Hiphop,Garage & jungle mixing up the records and different genres of music to good effort.After listening to various sounds like King Jammys,Stereograph, Kilimanjaro and attending several dances with Saxon,Volcano,Sovereign,Tippertone,Ambassador,Unity & Sir Coxsone,KG1 got more feeling for the reggae tradition vibes playing at the Notting Hill Carnival for the first time in 1986 & then in the following years leading up to the late 1990's,still combining playing tunes & mic talking and building up the vibes on Freedom Sound Discotech.
