'F For You' (Eats Everything Remix)

Disclosure’s ‘F For You’ ft Mary J Blige is set to get an Eats Everything make-over with a remix dropping on PMR this month. The record, belonging to Disclosure's Grammy nominated album ‘Settle’, has dominated the dance charts of late and Eats serves it a slice of added groove, making for a typically inviting dance floor track. 

Both acts have recently supported one another on recent dates, with Disclosure joining Eats Everything as a special guest at his XOYO residency and in return, Eats made a special appearance at Disclosure’s Alexandra Palace gig last weekend. Having a clear fondness for each other’s work, it was only a matter of time before a remix came to fruition.  Stripped back and built around his trademark punchy house template, Eats gives the original an altogether new dimension that is sure to make waves on both the radio and in the clubs.

Eats Everything kicked off 2014 with a brand new residency series at XOYO, London, with each date comfortably selling out. Alongside pioneering the resurgence of the residency to London’s nightlife, he’s been working his way around Europe too, touring some of the very best venues on the European club circuit.

The Disclosure remix is only the tip of the iceberg when when it comes to what Eats has lined up for the rest of the year. Rounding up the last few weeks of his XOYO residency, Eats will be releasing the ‘Hello Mr. Jello' EP alongside Justin Martin on Dirtybird Records and has a Hot Natured remix forecast, as well as a very exciting mix compilation in the pipeline.

Kerri Chandler’s MadTech Record is back with a new compilation this September, entitled ‘MadTech 03’ and comprising fourteen original tracks from many leading names in contemporary house music.

It’s been yet another fantastic year for MadTech with releases from the likes of Cera Alba, Artifact and Kalyde, picking up support along the way from the likes of Maya Jane Coles, Huxley, Dubspeeka and BBC Radio 1’s Monki. Here the label returns with yet another hard hitting various artists package, with the likes of PMR’s No Artificial Colours, Bontan, Circus’s Yousef and Leftwing & Kody all delivering brand new exclusive material for the comp.
In true MadTech fashion the ‘03’ compilation offers up an array or raw, dance floor focused house cut ranging from the hypnotic and infectious grooves of Rockaforte’s ‘Hyper Muzik’ and Lupe Fuentes & Javi Lopez’ ‘To Perfection’, through to more direct house workouts from Max Chapman, No Artificial Colours, Bontan and Rich Wakley.

We are bringing the second installment from Scalectric Music straight to your inbox.  

This time, it has got Xar Lee’s -the owner and creator of the label- signature. A release which has given the producer the opportunity to focus on the definition of the label´s sound and identity, indeed the summary of the concept of Scalectric Music has come through. An evolved House sound, which merges with other styles like Techno, Acid or Electro. These are predominant values for Scalectric.   

Xar Lee names the EP “Shake your mind”. Two original House tracks starring the solo singer Annamäe and counting on a remix by the Brazilian producer Ciszak (Dirtybird, 303 Lovers).  The first track, “Shake your mind” is a House cut spiced with a very powerful bass, which together with Annamäe’s vocals, give the sound a fresh approach, with a touch of mysticism and Acid that still make it stonger. The second cut, “Flashback”, is a dose of evolved house, but more raw, with no effects, groovier, 909 and acid 303 sounds mixed with a primitive house vocals also by Annamäe. Perfect combination for the dancefloor.   

Ciszak, the Brazilian producer who has released in Dirtybird or 303 Lovers, brings this great remix full of Acid sound, and One Shot Vocals, adding more organic elements to the original, but still keeping the killer track sense for the most selected dancefloors.   

The second release on Scalectric Music records, “Shake your mind” is a bet for the House sound of 2015.  More surprises coming soon!

Parisian Popof releases the second single from his stunning artist album ‘Love Somebody’ on Hot Creations. ‘Going Back feat. Arno Joey’ is also a collaboration with Animal & Me with a feast of remixes on offer.

Following in the same suit as the first single from the album, ‘Going Back’ also features the voice of Arno Joey and is a superior piece of electronic music with great crossover appeal. Oxia & Miss Kittin team up for the first remix adding percussion and hypnotic synths, spicing things up with Miss Kittin’s vocals. On the B-side, Eats Everything mixes trippy FX and a big build for the main room, while Lee Foss keeps things deep and smooth.

Voted Best Newcomer artist at the Ibiza DJ Awards in 2009, Popof has gained notoriety for his work with Cocoon, and remixing the likes of Depeche Mode, Chemical Brothers, and Moby. One of the most downloaded artists in techno music, he was appointed the official mentor of the Paris Techno Parade 2013's fifteen year anniversary, a great honour he shared in front of 300.000 participants. Animal & Me is a French DJ and producer who is also known as Mono Dos on Definive.

French DJ and producers Oxia & Miss Kittin are big names in the game. Their successful track ‘Housewife’ released in 2012 can be found on InFine. Bristolian Eats Everything has been a leader of the new wave of British DJs and producers. His releases can be found on labels such as Pets Recordings, Hypercolour and Southern Fried. Hot Creations co-founder Lee Foss has been growing from strength to strength with a recent venture with MK and Anabel Englund as Pleasure State.

Jey Kurmis is a Leeds based producer who has been djing all over the UK for almost ten years and producing for around 7 years. From his first ever release on Phobic Records to his more recent offerings for Hot Creations, Jey has been honing his craft with his music being championed by some of the biggest names in the game.

His first Hot Creations release entitled, Lil Nic French EP dropped on Hot Creations in July 2014. A four pronged attack of bumping summer jams flecked with infectious vocals - lead track Lil Nic French first appeared on Richy Ahmeds massive Rinse FM compilation and rightly sets the tone with its heavy bass beat and mind bending acid line. With the chunky, percussive LA Shazz, the tight kicks and cowbell of the groovy Lover and the freaky groover Miss Raadi the EP made a statement of intent that shows no sign of waning.

With his arsenal of originals and a steady release schedule on some top labels as well as an ever-busier gig schedule which includes the infamous, Paradise@ DC10 in Ibiza 2015 is set to see the rise of Jey Kurmis and truly mark him out as one to watch.
For Exploited Ghetto Jey Kurmis delivered 3 minimal tech-house bombs in his typical ultra-dope trademark sound.
