Song writer and poet author of book "No Deposit No Return 1983 Cambridge, England  Born in Ohio USA 1937 and of Scottish ancestry. Joined the United States Marine Corps in 1955 then US Air force in 1964 to be a graphic artist and retired with 21 years service in 1976. Since worked as artist and Comptroller, finance officer. Retired and living with my Irish wife in Killarney, Ireland. Studied at U of Marland, Belleview College Nebraska, 3 years at Columbus college of art and design, Ohio,USA.
  My daughter, Kelly McKain is a writer of children's books. She has over 40 books published world wide in many languages and lives in England. 
  My love for writing songs started in the 1950's in Ohio, USA with "Love Johnny" (written in 1957)which was finally studio finished in Florida in 1995.My favourite singers of my youth were like Joni James, Connie Francis, Peggy Lee, Jo Stafford, Billy Holiday and later Petula Clark and Dusty Springfield to name a few, Male singers, Roy Orbison, Ink Spots, Mills Brothers, Frankie of course. Love to all who listen to my songs. I hope some of you would like to record new versions of them let me know.
