Classical dancer and pianist converted to the art of DJing, Jean Terechkova is from Normandy and Rennes by adoption. She cultivates fertile metamorphoses, just like her stage name, the addition of a long-standing male nickname and a tribute to the first female cosmonaut. Since her first love for industrial techno, she multiplies her references and widens her musical spectrum towards the rave sounds of the 90s, acid, hardcore, pushing to frapcore and other forms of hard dance. However, his mixes always bring out the melody of devastating kicks, and seek, beyond the violence, all the poetry of brutality. Released on KTK Records, Tétraèdre or HardVision, his high paced productions reflect the current effervescence of the French techno scene and the promise of beautiful future cavalcades.

Getting to play this outdoors was something else !! And this crowd was absolutely nuts !! This hard & fast turbo rave mix travels through industrial hard techno, a bunch of French hard techno/rave, some silly remixes and schranz ⋆

Needing an outlet for her most intense form of musical expression, Caity plays dark psy & experimental music under her evil alias ‘Fairy Ring'. These sets are intense and are made with the intention of being played on outdoor dancefloors. With her diverse musical palette, she also covers house, hard dance, trance & more.

As the founder of 150 BPM & 150% Live, Caity is deeply dedicated to platforming women & FLINTA* artists, as well as live hardware artists. This strong value shines through in her event curation, as well as her DJ sets.

Caity has solidified herself as a staple in her local scene, regularly playing Melbourne’s top venues like Sub Club, Revolver & New Guernica and securing a residency with turbo422 & Beaufort Beats. She has headlined numerous shows, including Black Noir (Sydney) & Nexus (QLD) recently.

Although thriving in a club setting, Caity is equally passionate about playing for underground raves and intimate events that connect with her values. Her consistent and diverse bookings reflect her ability to connect with many different crowds, while always remaining true to her sound.

From dark & hypnotic techno to hard industrial techno & hard dance, and even house & disco, Caity's sound shines through consistently no matter what genre she covers, balancing metal heaviness with a soft core and meticulous progression.

Grateful for Australia's thriving music scene, Caity has had the honour of playing Revolver Upstairs, My Aeon, Tempo Club (Gold Coast), Esoteric Festival (Theme Camp), Brown Alley, Rubix Warehouse, KISS FM, Area3000, Melbourne Pavilion, 524 Flinders, The Gasometer and more.

In 2023, Caity was signed as a resident artist for Track08, and was voted into the top 5 for Victoria’s ‘Best DJ’. Recently, Caity was the headliner for Nexus Club (interstate) and Node Sounds (Naarm).

A manifestation of her years of passion for connecting like-minded people and building a community, Caity is also the founder of Naarm techno collective '150 BPM', showcasing raw, hypnotic and hard techno genres at events. ‘150 BPM’ is a mindset – aiming to push artists to play what they thought they could never get away with.
