Most dance artists' journey to their first milestones is tortuous. Now and again, you get artists that buck this trend. It's hard to say why; maybe it's simply that their music is so attractive that things happen much faster. Whatever the reason, that's what's happened with the Italian DJ and production duo Mediterane. Straight out the door in July, they secured a spot with New York House titans, Nervous. Since then, despite having only two further releases, they have chalked up DJ store success and 100Ks of streams. You will be delighted to hear that these hot young kids have chosen GU as their next destination. Since then Claptone released his debut artist album Charmer and his singles have helped make him one of the best selling acts on Beatport. Today, just as the sun demonstrates that it's here to stay, the masked man unveils his Golden Summer Tour.

Claptone's Golden Summer Tour runs from his first date at the opening of Amnesia in May through to his last date at the legendary Ibiza super-club in September and takes in a staggering 66 dates in 20 countries with more to be announced! 

2016 is the Golden Summer of Claptone and his agenda this season is to help fans create memories that'll last forever:

'We have all had summers where the stars align; we're with our best friends, enjoying beautiful weather, listening to our favourite music and falling in love. If you didn't know yet: as much as I like the dark of a club night, I feel drawn to the gold of a festival site or a beach party. And I'm not greedy, I'm gonna share my golden summer with you.' says Claptone himself.

The incredible tour schedule includes performances at Amnesia, Space, Pacha, Glastonbury, We Are FSTVL, Big Festival, Mysteryland, Spring Awakening, Parookaville, Brunch Electronik, Dreambeach Festival in countries as varied as Japan, China, Canada, USA and across Europe too. And there'll be a soundtrack to this tour: Claptone will be releasing remixes of his single 'Heartbeat feat. Nathan Nicholson' (from Technasia and Mat.Joe) on 6th June plus Claptone remixes of New Order and Peter, Bjorn & John with some surprises no doubt too… 

Throughout the summer, Claptone and his partners will be holding competitions to win VIP and masked merchandise from his brand new store. You can also soundtrack the summer with his weekly Clapcast radio show that is broadcast on 40+ stations worldwide and has been downloaded 4 million times from iTunes so far.
