The playlist they collaborated on over the next few weeks, represents both of their eclectic, nuanced and broadly diverse interests. One of the two decides to DJ a set with a sampling from the Parque playlist that these two have been cultivating over the past 6 weeks. This set is one manifestation of the connection these two DJ's have forged together.

At first Amapiano was a bit hard for me to break into, to understand and find the styles and feels that I liked. That was 3 years ago, and by now I've developed a deep appreciation and love for all the creativity that defines this genre. Think of this set as a guided tour into this authentically South African style that is taking the world by storm. I do not own the rights to any of this music.

New updated shorter set, with some new heat mixed in to keep it interesting. Amapiano is a music genre originating from South Africa characterized by a fusion of deep house, jazz, and Kwaito music. It was heavily influenced by Kwaito, a South African genre popular in the 1990s that combined house music with local African sounds. First song of the set is a Kwaito hit called "Sigiya Ngengoma" by Trompies.

Played a set at Tonal Café Bar on Obregón in Roma Norte — Afro rhythms, Latin heat, some deep edits, and a touch of Angolan groove in the mix. The set got cut a little short at the end (tech issues), but the vibe was locked in. Global, percussive, and full of motion.
