Have you ever been heart-broken?

"Jojo's Message," is a scene from a simple, short story of love and loss. It is about a sandwich shop worker, Juan, who has aspirations to be a professional actor. He meets a special gal, Jojo, falls in love, but lets her go so she can pursue her own passion of acting. 

As he stares longingly out the window of the sandwich shop one afternoon, Juan recalls a recorded message Jojo had left on his phone that week: "Juan, it's me. It's Jojo. Hi! I shouldn't have called, but I couldn't wait any longer. I followed your advice. I've gone out a couple nights with one of the guys in the play. He's not as good an actor as you are, but he's young and cute. But I don't have a lot of time to have fun. When I'm not working, I'm preparing a new collection. Well... I hope you still think a little bit about me. Don't worry, I'm not gonna say I love you... Okay... Bye."
