This is my take on "The Eyes of Texas", the UT Austin fight song. I studied there for 6 years and enjoyed many games at DKR. This track starts of simple, adds some filigree, gets down and dirty, and then throws in ricochet and left hand pizzicato. You have to see it to fully understand, but a recording is still fun.

Cyclone No. 2

Inspired by a particularly beautiful morning by the water, this tune was written and recorded in an attempt of capturing the best of that day's beginning. A simple plucked motive presents, grows, repeats, and is joined by a lyrical solo violin. The melody rises like the sun, illuminating the clouds and trees and stirring the world awake while the birds begin their flight. As the day brightens so does the music, exploring a new tonality before returning to the opening material, albeit a bit more embellished.  Enjoy this "Daybreak" whenever you want a lift!
