Cosmotronic Ice Cream Sundae

This is the sound of a canopy of trees talking in the wind. The sound of frigid gusts ripping along a coastline. Peace and calm, but cold and exposed.

I started writing this project 4 years ago, and it's been through many different creative cycles. Right now felt like the right time to finalise it and move on.

The cover art is a sketch I drew at a similar time when I started this project.

Here is my first fully realised piece of acousmatic electronic music. It focuses on the sounds which can be heard within an urban centre, and the layers, which accumulate and often go unnoticed.

Due to time constraint this piece lacks the ambiguity which I would have liked to present (some sounds are so obviously distinguishable). I may re-attempt something like this in the future as urban sounds make for fascinating composition resources.

Pollen is heavy in the air. The bees are busy. A heady, sweet smell immerses you. It's hard to walk straight. Welcome to the Pollen Glade.


A project of mine which could be observed as an introduction to a piece of media, film, television, game.

Heavenly lights. Ambient sound that is the colour of light or as the music intends. Completed in August 2019.

"Eight in the inner circle and four in the outer circle. 
Each of these words is a clue to another word. Find the eight words to which the inner circle words are clues, write the words so found in pairs, and when this is done correctly the four words so formed are the answers to which the outer circle words are clues. In other words, two inners make; ono outer. Can I you manage it?"
