Echoes from Agartha is an experience that exists in the center of Music, History, Culture, and Culinary to stimulate the senses and connect to your core. This is a 4-day odyssey to Cappadocia, the heart of Anatolia an area also known as “Cradle of Civilization” for the number of innovations that arose from the early societies in this region, which are among some of the earliest known human civilizations on earth. Fusion is special every year, but this year it was extra special <3 
Not only did we manage to rave with so many close friends from all over the world - we also started our set at Panne Eichel with our first ever production! 
We are Fusionistas and also as the world’s biggest  Billie Eilish fans through and through :) 
We hope you enjoy our intro as much as we enjoyed making it, and we hope you enjoy listening to this recording as much as we enjoyed playing it.

Wonderfruit, what can we say? We're in love! This set will stay in our memory forever - the vibe, sound and production at Polygon stage was next level and something we'll never forget. To play the closing before the daytime break at Turmbühne on Saturday morning was such a bliss and all my nervosity was blown away from the excitement to play one of my fav stages at Fusion Festival. Especially after 15 years of visiting, dancing, taking days of for my ravecation, strolling around, getting lost, meeting new people, reuniting with friends from all over the world, discovering new artists I'm so honored to have finally played the mother of all stages there. Probably the best dancefloor on the planet.

Maybe one Night

Huge thanks to White Ocean for making one of my dreams a reality. This year was my very first Burn… And if you met me on the playa, you know how much fun I had! For those who know me well, this experience was really powerful. I discovered a new part of myself, artistically and socially. And this set at White Ocean was very special. I was supposed to play a 3 hours live set but for many reasons I wasn’t able to do so…  So I improvised a kind of hybrid set remixing and editing some tracks in live. I had never done such a thing before and it was totally insane! Right after I started a big dust storm hit the playa and we couldn't see a thing but it was unbelievable! So epic! The crowd was insane! It probably was the craziest set in my entire life! I will never forget this one. There is so much to say… Just be there.

Explorations 22 is brought to you by super fresh talent Mia Kober.

Mia Caught LO-FIs Attention with her warm debonair and kind nature, and after hearing her play a polished set at WALL TO WALL we were astounded to hear she has only been spinning for 9 months.

Mia's introduction to music was by her parents, being taken to festivals at an early age and being spoonfed Jazz, folk and more these influences brewed inside her mind.
Discovering the track Muse by Nicolas Jaar was the lightbulb moment and the first steps to electronic music enlightenment were taken.
Her quest took her to Europe where the chill stages of festivals was her education.

Mia has drawn inspiration from the likes off  Nicolaas Jaar, Clever Austin, Lui Mufata, Nils Frahm, Nikosh, Gary Clark Jr, Four Tet, Gidge, Lee Jones, Stimming, Arutani, Billy Caso,  Satori, Lemonella, flowers on monday, Groove Armada, Landhouse, Gaudi, Bado, Jean du Voyage... and from this her sound carries a warm emotion, with hints of melancholy.

Embedding herself in the Auckland underground scene it is her enthusiasm to organise events and lend a hand to those that need it that make her a pleasure to be around and her ease at weaving a soundscape makes her one to watch.

In her short career she has already played stellar sets at kiwi Burn and splore... and is becoming a regular on Auckland lineups.

For this mix Mia has put together a deep emotive offering..In her own words...

I spent sometime trying to make the playlist and have the mix be certain way but nothing felt like it was flowing with ease, so i ended  totally surrendering what it would sound like and just played for fun and myself dancing and moving and having a good ol time and that’s the recording I ended up with. Unplanned and just an extension of what i was feeling when I created it.  I think its good to have an outline but when we create with restrictions over what we are feeling in the moment it is harder to enjoy the recording experience. So taking a breath and tuning in to what I’m feeling in the moment is the approach that works for me.
