A hypnotic DJ, he possess depth, groove and impressive musical breadth, sliding between house, techno, minimal and plenty more with mischievous ease.  He spins at Dimensions for the first time this summer, and if this classy 80 minutes is anything to go by, we're in for a serious treat.

FINNEST brings us a new release, "ITS TOO LATE" by Mesquitas & Danny (AT), in its third reference, second of its "Underground Series" division, it is an original cut accompanied by a remix by the talented Philipp Lichtblau. The Original cut is an obvious example of the quality that Rafa and Danny have accustomed us to, very elegant deep house with a super sensual vocal and a subtle rhythm perfect for heating up the club floor at the beginning of the night. In the remix we have Philipp, who after having signed on labels like HedZup or Rendr presents us with a more minimalist version of It's Too Late, with a deeper bassline, a more extended dynamic and a happy groove that makes you move your foot uncontrollably and inevitably. Without a doubt, this maxi is a piece worthy of collecting.

Time has come for the last podcast of 2020 which comes from one of the hottest names in the Romanian scene: Vlad Arapasu. With many releases on top-notch labels such as Priku's Atipic, Subtil, Serialism, EASTENDERZ, and Unic to name a few, the Bucharest talent worked his way up by providing a peculiar melodic-oriented style, always sustained by unwavering trust in gloomy sub-basslines, intricated grooves, and twisted synths. For our first podcast of a new year we have no one less than Australian born spinstress Monika Ross. Ross is an artist who constantly raises her head above the barrier. This radio host, producer and DJ built her grounding in Sydney before immersing herself in Europe’s well nurtured house and techno scene. Miss Ross evades easy categorisation: her sets reflect a wealth of ideas and creativity, with sounds deeply rooted into deep organic dub, tech and jazz, always adding the right amount of sensuality to her mixes and productions. Her tracks are powerful yet refined, characterized by swinging percussive grooves and infectious bass lines. The dance floor hasn’t been the only outlet for Monika. Sound mixing for the BBC London as well as releasing with labels such as Talman Records, Serialism, Metroline Limited, Rube Goldberg Series, and FA>IE make up Monika’s accomplished musical background. Her ability to stimulate a crowd, push the boundaries and her enviable record collection make Miss Ross a much sought after artist.

Sometimes it can be difficult to label a genre for our guest mixes, but not so here, It was very easy to select the genre in this instance... H.O.U.S.E.... From Berlin's first lady of house music no less. We've been buggin' Cinthie for years to join the SB mix series, and after much badgering (well, not that much, Cinthie is lovely) she's stepped up to the platters that matter and delivered a mix that will catapult you into 2021, and place 2020 firmly in the rearview mirror.

This is a live recording from a certain event that took place at The Black Sea coast not long ago (yes, that special festival we all love), featuring a b2b set from Barac, half of NoiDoi duo project and his partner in crime in recent times, Herodot.
It's one of the few recordings (if not the first) on the web under the Barac moniker, probably the best kept gem of the Romanian scene at this point. And these two guys go along so well, as if they were a match made in heaven.

For the second edition of the show and for the second time on ID:Radio, we are feeding the ears of our community with the inimitable sound of one of romania’s most wanted artists worldwide. 

@petre_lizz has the ability of owning and hypnotizing the whole crowd through the absolute control of the distinct frequencies of every track he mixes, knowledge that grows naturally in him and that is also clearly manifested in every each one of his productions. Lizz consistently fuels his mixes and with a proficient but natural brew of strenuously sculptured tunes. The artist shows dominion of the arts while in stage or backstage, giving the best in every performance. 

Fondly dubbed by ID as “Valioso” for all things previously mentioned, Vali surely knows how to give us some memorable quality time every time he’s or not behind the decks. We have had the pleasure of hosting him in multiple occasions all over the world; Barcelona, NYC, Miami @ the Electric Pickle & Moscow @ Gazgolder Club. This set is part of is a very special piece of that history together, recorded @ Brooklyn almost two years ago at our ID event in Bushwick. 

At the time he brought the heat to American soil for the first time on his American and ID Debut, also curated by us back in 2019. In this tour it was possible for Lizz to expand and reverberate his sound into corners of the East and West coasts of the US, by the hand of some of the A1 promoters in the game; like our @Un_mute family, @Pragmatik and @Tied.  

This +/- 165 mins. extract from his 3 hrs set in New York is the only remnant media from Lizz’s ID:Tour. The magnetic and stirring set is fueled by analog and digital elements; undoubtedly a new masterpiece of the mixing realm now handy for all of you to listen, share and/or savor it. It includes tracks from various masters of the craft such as @Ricardo Villalobos. Through his track selection and his immaculate mixing, Lizz created a stimulating yet unblemished trip with the effectiveness that characterizes all his presentations.

This journey will definitely bring some good vibes to this winter helping to keep the overall health elevated of those who listen to it.

Ionut Valentin Petre was born in Buzau, one of the many the dazzling regions of Romania. His fascination for art was born with him hence he’s an innate artist in distinct artistic fields, demonstrating it runs through his veins. He studied Fine Arts @ Iasi’s George Enescu’s University of Art with specialization in Sculpture and started his musical migration at the early age of 16 in the same city, where he cardinally got the attention of the electronic music enthusiasts and the professionals from the scene around the country with his productions and mixing skills. 

After completing his objectives and his time in Iasi, Lizz moved to Cluj Napoca where he got to expand his professional horizons to the levels we can appreciate today. Soon he became part of the family of @Midi-Records-romania, playing in the best acts of the city such as @clubmidi, @Mioritmic, @hififi, among others. In short order he also became one of @Sunriseagency’s most valuable players. He worked arduously to be a yearly static figure of the Stage 4 of #Sunwaves, the biggest festival in Romania and one of the most proper fiestas in the industry worldwide. 

With his productions, Lizz’s been defining the electronic sound of the new generation of his country with tracks on labels like @Playedby, @priku_atipicrecords, #MidiRecords, @EastEnderz, and many others; becoming an emblem of the romanesc electronic music with his young musical career.
