'Collectivism' as the name suggests is a package lovingly put together by the GLR crew of some of their favourite new music that's been mesmerising audiences all over the globe of late. With each track a collaboration between GLR affiliated artists you can expect some of most beautiful moments in drum & bass this year with dreamteams as far as the page will flow! The perfect soundtrack accompaniment to those long summer nights ahead or those late night peaktime dance floor moments.

Another supreme addition to possibly the most celebrated label catalogue in drum & bass and one that shows just how healthy the goodlooking sound is around the world in 2013.

Villem & McLeod return to Samurai Red Seal for another outing to follow their successful pairing on 'Hush' for the label in 2012 which was part of one of the labels biggest 12"s ever. This time both sides of the record are collaborative pieces and both tunes are overflowing with glistening summer vibrations. 

'Another Star' has been heavily supported by the likes of Marcus Intalex (who debuted it on his Soul:ution Radio Show), London Elektricity, and of course Friction who has been hammering the tune on his BBC Radio 1 show, as well as picking it up for inclusion on his forthcoming Fabriclive CD.

Belfast-born Dominick Martin has spent the last 30 years simply creating. He’s done so with a sort of restrained melancholy that’s broad enough to encompass a myriad of tempos and genres. Over 24 albums, this includes his more song-based experimental LPs, from drum & bass into dub, techno, house, ambient, jazz, soul, blues and folk.

The same can be said of his award winning DJ sets: Fluent within his own vast range, favouring the bookings where space and time allow him to draw out a narrative and provoke emotions, predominantly based on his own material. Calibre sets draw from his own personal spectrum, never resort to hype tactics and are perennially sprung with never-before-heard surprises. Whether you experience him taking over a room for the full 6+ hour trip, or he plays a shorter higher impact role on a bigger bill, his singular signature persists: a soulfully honest sense of the transcendental and a unique perspective and approach.
