First I tried to make a calypso song. But I was unable to do it... So I changed it into a 80's style track.

My daughter Daphné (5) wanted to sing on that song, so I recorded her.

Made with Ardour (DAW), Rosegarden (midi), Hydrogen on Ubuntu Studio. I used my voice and my guitar.

This Is The Way

This EP is my second for 2024 and is dedicated to my daughter, Tyra Claire. There is a track named after her and it is the most beautiful piece of music that I have composed to date. I took the freedom to transform these old lyrics of the sweet Irish tune into a totally different melody 
In the end It turned out to be a sort of hybrid mixed with Irish and Norwegian folk fusion
