after a long collaboration with the independent electronic music scene, the digital sound residency is a project which underlines how strong is the bond between Kuboraum and contemporary music; 
inviting experimental, electronic and contemporary music artists to re-design their aesthetic through an exclusive soundtracks for Kuboraum's digital room www.kuboraum.com available for everyone to download subscribing to Kuboraum's newsletter.

The second host of this series is the pioneer of the Birmingham electronic music scene, the man behind several projects which changed the electronic music scene, the Downwards founder, artist and producer REGIS.

LET LOVE DECIDE, written by REGIS, is an extract from the one-off performance LET THE NIGHT RETURN by Karl O’Connor aka REGIS which took place in June 2019 at the Ancient Theater of Epidaurus in Peloponnese - Greece. 
A remarkable UNESCO world heritage site devoted to Asclepius - the Greek god of medicine. The 2,360-year-old, 14.000 capacity open-air Auditorium which is still standing in its original form and shape, as the oldest and last remaining blueprint of architectural acoustics, naturally became the ideal setting for the act. 
In LET LOVE DECIDE Regis is shifting between his signature acoustics old and new, designing a huge spectrum of his deep personality while using his incredible cult voice.

REGIS _ KUBORAUM _ LET LOVE DECIDE

Fachwerk boss Mike Denhert rolls up on TECH-UM 006 with for another heavy selection of intuitive techno jams on his 'TESTET' EP. With the focus squarely on the dance floor the Berlin-born wizard's latest creations makes for another unique voyage into cutting edge techno.

Kostik with its dark wall of sound opens the release sporting an gargantuan bassline and metronomic percussion that resonates through the speakers. Freakin' Me offers a slow and low machine funk strut, with its heads-down groove and sassy vocal chops.

On the flip Mike hits out hard with Mino. A heady concoction that's one part Chicago, one part Detroit, one part Berlin, coming together to create the perfect party piece. Dehnert then closes with one final gem. Sampling a broken escalator from a NYC train station, he engineers layer upon layer of mechanical madness. Creative clanging. Welding sounds and strikes like a vibrating visionary, he presents a final silvery sonic sensation.

There are harmonies of the wind blowing the leaves, the flowing river, the insect chirping and all kinds of elements from the nature worship of primitive tribes, that’s animism and endless sound life.

ICI MTN is a live performer and producer, member of the Franco-Dutch collective Plor. Through his creations, he develops a hypnotic and melancholic universe with a deep, minimal and hybrid techno aesthetic.

Close to sound creation and electroacoustic music, he maintains a porous link with these influences, which naturally lead him to integrate a sensitive, poetic dimension into his music.

He considers this first release as a very intimate world, in which he has tried to place all the tracks likely to introduce the listener to his meditative vision of dance music.

The intention is to embrace a wide range of aesthetics, such as hypnotic techno, deep percussive rhythms or mental grooves, while focusing on complex atmospheres and textures. It's a notion that brings a lot of sensations as a listener, so he wanted to transcribe them as best as possible in this debut project.
