Es ist eine allgemein anerkannte Wahrheit, dass ein alleinstehender Maler, der über ein großes Talent verfügt, dringend einer Ehefrau bedarf – oder zumindest einer Geliebten oder einer Frau mit dem unwiderstehlichen Etwas, das ihn inspiriert. Und das nicht nur seine Augen anspricht, sondern auch sein Herz.

Frauen, die Maler zu ihren Höchstleistungen anregen, werden Musen genannt. „Erfinder“ des Begriffs „Muse“ waren die alten Griechen. In deren Mythologie waren diese neun Damen die Töchter des Göttervaters Zeus und der Mnemosyne, der Göttin der Erinnerung, und als Schutzgöttinnen der Künste jeweils einer anderen Kunstgattung zugeordnet. Wer von einer der Musen geküsst wurde, konnte sich glücklich schätzen – Katastrophen, wie eine Schreibblockade, rückten in weite Ferne.

Das Bild von der Musen hat sich seitdem  gewandelt, vor allem sind sie jetzt eindeutig irdischen Ursprungs. Nach wie vor kommen sie in allen Bereichen der schönen und bildenden Künste vor. Die von ihnen inspirierten Dichter widmen ihnen Poeme, Komponisten berührende oder mitreißende Melodien. Am greifbarsten werden die Musen jedoch im Bereich der Malerei und der Plastik, denn dabei sind sie nicht nur der gute Geist, der über dem Erschaffenen schwebt, sondern stehen uns plötzlich persönlich gegenüber.

So ganz werden die Musen ihren Hauch des Mysteriösen allerdings wohl nie verlieren, denn es bleibt immer die Frage: Was ist ihr Geheimnis? Was haben sie an sich, dass Maler zu ihren beeindruckendsten Werken inspiriert? Eine allgemeine Antwort gibt es da nicht. Denn wie jedes menschliche Wesen, ist die Muse ein Individuum mit einem ganz persönlichen Lebensweg.

"Your Smile" with the gorgeous Shannon Lawn was released in December 17 on the new "Wooden Tales" series  of our imprint. He connected the beautiful voice of Shannon with electronic, joyful beats and a deep, heavy bassline.

-Callhim Strange (eigentlich Robert) begann seine musikalische Laufbahn im Alter von 16 Jahren. Mit Fleiß und viel viel Übung auf Riemen betriebenden Reloop Plattenspielern, schaffte er es, bei einer Newcomer-Night im Jahre 2000 sein Können unter Beweis zu stellen. Von dort an legte er Vinyl in Clubs in Berlin, Brandenburg und Sachsen auf. 2005 beendete er, aus privaten und beruflichen Gründen, seine Laufbahn, vorerst.
Seit 2015 ist er wieder unterwegs, auf digitalen Wegen und mit neuem musikalischen Style. Von DeepHouse über klassischen House bis hin zu Electro ist es stets das Ziel, die Leute auf eine Reise mitzunehmen.
Engl: Callhim Strange aka Robert started djing at the age of 16 in 1999 and got his first chance in a club back in 2000. At that time he played vinyl in clubs in Berlin and Brandenburg till 2005.
After a 10 year break he came back in in 2015 on digital ways and with a new musical concept.
