We conclude the 2023 chapter of our Exclusive Mix series with Denes Toth, a true ambassador of the Slovak independent electronic dance music scene. Toth, a DJ, producer and founder of the Moody event series, recently also started the Moodyverse label.  

As a producer, he released on Berlin’s New Tab Music,
Mono.Noise and Circus Recordings. As a performer, besides his residency at Bratislava’s Aldea Club, he's a regular guest in many Slovak, Czech and Hungarian clubs and festivals like B my Lake, Sziget, Balaton Sound, Grape, Beats for Love etc.

Music has always been a passion for Balázs Kovács aka ARTIM. His musical influence came primarily from Jean Michel Jarre and Kraftwerk records.

He grew up on trance music in the late 1990s and the first years of the 2000s, than after a short journey to the minimal / deep tech genre, he finally found his ultimate sound of expression called organic house.

His main goal is to share this groovy, atmospheric sound with others, bring joy to the dance floor and make people smile. For this purpose he is constantly working on his sound and expanding his music selection so there’s always something new to be heard. In the past years he has DJed for bars, pubs, and special events in Budapest.

-Callhim Strange (eigentlich Robert) begann seine musikalische Laufbahn im Alter von 16 Jahren. Mit Fleiß und viel viel Übung auf Riemen betriebenden Reloop Plattenspielern, schaffte er es, bei einer Newcomer-Night im Jahre 2000 sein Können unter Beweis zu stellen. Von dort an legte er Vinyl in Clubs in Berlin, Brandenburg und Sachsen auf. 2005 beendete er, aus privaten und beruflichen Gründen, seine Laufbahn, vorerst.
Seit 2015 ist er wieder unterwegs, auf digitalen Wegen und mit neuem musikalischen Style. Von DeepHouse über klassischen House bis hin zu Electro ist es stets das Ziel, die Leute auf eine Reise mitzunehmen.
Engl: Callhim Strange aka Robert started djing at the age of 16 in 1999 and got his first chance in a club back in 2000. At that time he played vinyl in clubs in Berlin and Brandenburg till 2005.
After a 10 year break he came back in in 2015 on digital ways and with a new musical concept.
