iBreaks reaches it's 60th release, a hefty two-track single from Latvia's finest Under This.

First up is "The Drops" which starts out with a distinct disco flavour with subtle rhythm guitar-esque licks and wavy synths before dropping in with a driving kick, snare and cowbell combo alongside a buzzing sawtooth bassline. A minimal vocal line makes way for some lush synth action towards the mid section, leading to a huge breakdown and even bigger drop!

Bringing up the rear is Enigma, kicking off strongly with pounding beats whilst atmospheric pads and swirls loom above. A dirty gnarled synth bassline sits under a female vocal, and in true Under This style some serious screaming synths are perfectly complemented by a sweeter melodic bleep section. This has festival system written all over it, so make the most of it while you can!

The city hums a low, metallic breath stretching from core to sky, as if the architecture itself dreams in code. Between the towers, mist coils in mechanical rhythm, alive with the scatter of neon and the silence of watching machines. It is always night here. Or if the sun does rise, it is filtered through so many layers of alloy and atmospheric control that its warmth is little more than myth.

There are no clocks here. Time is marked by the Scan.

It begins without announcement. A flicker in the streetlamps, a subtle drop in the ambient drone. Then, a rising tone like a tuning fork struck against a cathedral of glass, and the city holds its breath. People pause. Every citizen trained from birth to still the body, to quiet the mind. Chins tilt upward, offering themselves to the beam that descends like judgment from the sky: cold, violet, and absolute.

The Scan sees everything.

It doesn't merely record faces or measure gait. It threads into the cortex, pulls at stray thoughts, filters through the dreamdust left behind in sleep. Memory is sifted. Emotion, weighed. Deviations, however slight, are marked. Joy too intense, grief too long, nostalgia, especially nostalgia, flagged and fed into the System. The System does not erase. It observes. It catalogs. Then it decides.

Tonight, the Scan flares once, just once with a flicker of yellow. Not red. Not dangerous. Not yet. But unstable.
Again, we are warned.

This is a subject of research for scientists and a source of inspiration for poets.
Cosmos always attracted man with its depth and magic of unknowing. Man have been always attracted by cosmic riddles. Space accompanies us throughout life, from birth to death. Before and after the incarnation. We feel a subconscious connection with it. Space is outside and inside each of us. We feel that we are born out of cosmic dust and starlight that stretch above us. Therefore, man's craving to reunite with this shining ocean - the abyss that has been turned over our heads - is so irresistible ...

When we raise our heads at night, and our gaze rushes to the sky ... We see a picture that inspires peace and ecstasy in our hearts and Souls. Many people have devoted their lives and activities to the exploration of the Space. Astronomy, astrology, austronautics, cosmoenergetics. Musicians devote their songs and compositions to the stars. Artists try to catch its greatness and beauty in forms and paints on canvas or paper. But the most important is other issue. This is what the Space reminds us about. It reminds us of that Eternity and Infinity from which we came and into which we will return. Only one sight on this breathtaking beauty is enough to feel the Eternal against the background of a temporary.

Every time I see the stars and the shining depth of the Space, I understand that we and the Space are in unity. And all the fuss, all human attempts to quickly arrange something in life - they fade, and become just a trifle in the ocean of wise silence. Looking at the beauty of the Space, human begins to realize the true priorities of life. After all, against the background of the Infinity of the Space, reminiscent of the Eternity of our Soul... Against this background, all fears, torments, resentment of others and ourselves, claims, worldly troubles and vanity are simply insignificant. It dissolves into Eternity. This is temporary. And the Space is Eternal. As well as our Soul.

Space reminds us of the main thing. And I am sure that the most important thing is how much of good, of love, of joy a person has poured through his heart into the hearts and Souls of other people, throughout his life. And the remaining achievements are just a tool for this.

Styles of the album - different genres of electronic music: Breaks, Progressive & Psy Breaks, Chill Out, Drum'n'Bass, Deep Dubstep, Downtempo, Deep House & Techno, Psy Trance, Ambient, with ethnic drums & other live instruments - everything I like and I can do for expression of my feelings and ideas. 

Unfortunately, the charity campaign for writing the album (on the site "IndiGoGo") was completely failed and collected a full zero. This showed that people do not really want to invest their money in my music and such music in general. Maybe they are too lazy, maybe they do not care. Therefore, partly because of this, the creation and releasing of the album took so long. In any case, I kept my word - and the album was released.
