 Mesmer has been the broken beats pioneer in Romania since 1996. 
 Founder of the first Romanian breakbeat label Scarcity Records and responsible for producing the first ever Romanian breaks album, Furious Fish released on Sound Of Habib in 2008.
 Mesmer has quickly become known as one of the ﬁnest producers the country has to offer and has had support from many of the biggest names around: Annie Nightingale on Radio One, Jay Cunning on Kiss FM, Matt Darey's “Nocturnal” and many more. With releases on high profile record labels such as Future Perfect (of Hardcore Beats crew), Bombtraxx and Sound Of Habib, Mesmer is building a reputation as one to watch, and as of 2009 Mesmer has launched his own label Scarcity Records. 

 With an eclectic view, Scarcity drops mainly breaks and sometimes even tech-house, dubstep and drum and bass tracks for the dance floors worldwide while maintaining a catalogue of productions that sets a standard of quality. If you like your beats dipped in lush melodies, acidic hooks and thunderous basslines, then this is a label worthy of your attention. Scarcity has become one of the most consistent labels around today and recently won the “Best New Label” award at the biggest international breakbeat awards Breakspoll in 2011 held in London, UK. Crafted in Georgia between 2022-2025, this album presents fragments from Progenol's ABLABUDA save file. It traces a journey from freedom and exhilaration to isolation and escapism, documenting a descent into forgotten corners of the network. The listener is guided from the rush of high-speed adventures to the mystique of ghost simulations hidden deep within the metaverse.

This album serves as a gateway into the digital cobweb - an artifact of the expanding ABLABUDA network

Standing in front of the machines, Reinhart waited nervously for the results. It was two o’clock in the afternoon. The day was warm, a pleasant May afternoon. Outside the building the daily life of the planet went on as usual.
As usual? Not exactly. The feeling was in the air, an expanding excitement growing every day. Terra had waited a long time. The attack on Proxima Centaurus had to come—and the sooner the better. The ancient Centauran Empire hemmed in Terra, bottled the human race up in its one system. A vast, suffocating net draped across the heavens, cutting Terra off from the bright diamonds beyond…. And it had to end. The SRB machines whirred, the visible combination disappearing.  For a time no ratio showed. Reinhart tensed, his body rigid. He waited. The new ratio appeared. Reinhart gasped. 7-6. Toward Terra! Within five minutes the emergency mobilization alert had been flashed to all Government departments. The Council and President Duffe had been called to immediate session. Everything was happening fast. But there was no doubt. 7-6. In Terra’s favor. Reinhart hurried frantically to get his papers in order, in time for the Council session. At histo-research the message plate was quickly pulled from the confidential slot and rushed across the central lab to the chief official. “Look at this!” Fredman dropped the plate on his superior’s desk. “Look at it!”
