Werman Escalona, known by his stage name, CALLMEWERM, hails from the vibrant city of Miami, Florida. His musical journey traces back to his upbringing, where he spent the majority of his life alongside his mother, immersed in a diverse musical palette that prominently featured rap and hip-hop. Beginning his musical exploration early on, at the

 age of 8, Werm delved into percussion classes and gradually honed his skills, eventually mastering the drums. Venturing across Florida during his summers with his father, Werm's musical odyssey led him to Orlando, Florida, where he completed his high school education. Guided by his stepbrother, Laz Carta, he delved into the intricacies of the music business, ultimately making the pivotal decision to embark on a career in releasing music.
In 2019, Werm marked his solo debut on SoundCloud with "Win Sum Lose Sum." The success of this initial venture fueled his creative momentum, leading to the release of his first project, "Colder Dayz." Throughout 2019 and 2020, Werm consistently dropped singles, culminating in the release of his second project, "Colder Dayz 2," a strong conclusion to the pandemic-hit year. Undeterred by challenges, Werm carried his creative energy into 2022, treating his fans to the highly anticipated "Runaway." This project showcased his evolving sound, delivering captivating vocals through melodic rap and infectious choruses. Building on the success of "Runaway," Werm released an enhanced version titled "Runaway: Relapse."
With five years in the game, Werm is now unraveling the layers of his unique sound and utilizing his music to convey a powerful message. His overarching goal is to inspire others to become the best versions of themselves.
